Funding for Employer-Based Training

What is funding for employers who sponsor employees for training?
Course Fee Subsidies and Absentee Payroll Funding are available for employers sponsoring employees who are either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

1) Course Fee Subsidies

Courses Conducted by External Training Providers

Course Fee Subsidies for employer-sponsored training are available for courses conducted by external training providers in Tables 1 and 2:

Courses Conducted by In-house Instructors

If you are conducting the training in-house, you may apply for course fee subsidies via SkillsConnect at the following rates in Table 3:

2) Absentee Payroll Funding

WDA also funds your employee’s salary while he/she is undergoing training. You may apply for absentee payroll funding at the following rates via SkillsConnect in Table 4:
